Duties & Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Hairdresser / Salon Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and greeting clients with professionalism and warmth.
• Shampooing and conditioning clients’ hair.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the salon.
• Providing refreshments to clients as needed.
• Preparing clients for their appointments (e.g., assisting stylists and colourists with their clients, and applying treatments).
• Managing retail stock and assisting with product organisation.
• Supporting stylists and colourists with their daily tasks.

As your skills develop, you may also be given opportunities to:

• Assist with blow-drying and styling.
• Apply toners under supervision.
• Gain hands-on experience in various hairdressing techniques.
