Chanel Runway Inspired Autumn/Winter 2023 Hairstyles

As the seasons change, we look toward the Fashion Week catwalks to inspire new hair styles for the Autumn/Winter 2023. Over-styled hair from the Summer is gone and minimal texture with a pared-back look is in.

Drawing upon Chanel’s Haute Couture show this season, Celebrity Stylist Stephen Beaver gives us the low-down on what’s trending this season.

‘AW2023 will see the return of accessories, deep side parts, natural dishevelled texture and soft fluffy braids. This season will be about embracing natural undone hair complimented by innovative head-pieces, brooches and hair ties.’

Here are four looks from the runway for your Autumn / Winter 2023 hair inspiration moodboard.

From runway inspirations to salon recreations, Stephen Beaver worked with HARI’s expert styling teams across their salons to recreate these trending hairstyles so our stylists can offer you the latest on trend looks and creative techniques.

This first look by Kirsten at HARI’s Notting Hill embraces the loose texturised knot we see all over the runway with natural waves achieved by light tonging.

This second look is a chignon creation by Martin from HARI’s Parsons Green’s. Balletcore is still going strong with different variations of the chignon bun spotted at fashion week. The difference between a regular bun and a chignon is that a bun is always twisted around itself, whereas a chignon can be a simple tuck-under style or wrapped around a hair accessory, like a clip.
