London Fashion Awards 2017

Hari’s picks our top three favourite looks from the London Fashion Awards 2017.

Jordan Dunn’s Copper Curls:

No wonder the perm is making a comeback, against her larger-than-life tangerine Versace dress, Dunn’s even larger hair reminded us that the trend for Seventies curls is in beautiful swing.

The fashionable message is however, that if you want to go big, go curly – but remember to ease yourself back in with the tongs before you commit to a perm this party season.

Georgia May Jagger:

We love the vintage feels of this hairstyle, but remember to keep the 2017 version updated by keeping the bangs flatter, whilst moulding them into what we call ‘low tidal waves.’

Pair with this season’s big statement earrings.

Donatella Versace:

She may have picked up the award for Fashion Icon of the Year, marking the 20th anniversary of her brother’s death. But she also wins our award for this beautiful blonde, and blunt, bob.

And while this may be the epitome of undone hair (tick) icy tones need extra care by way of Smart Bonds.

The colour service that smooths the cuticle from the inside out, it stops breakage whilst locking in shine and colour – making it a must have for anyone with blonde ambition.

HARI’S HOW-TO:

1. Roughdry hair upside down, to add volume,

2. Add salt spray for texture,

3. Pop in for a toner in-between colour appointments to keep the tone of the blonde as perfect as day one,

Tip: Invest in a purple shampoo to keep any yellow brassy tones at bay in between colour bookings.

L’Oréal has an excellent Purple shampoo available to purchase at all Hari’s salons.
